Bloodborneis one of the best games in the FromSoftware library, and that’s saying something considering its impressive line-up of classic titles.

The rumours ofBloodbornebeing remasteredfor both PC and PlayStation 5 have been floating around for a while now, but we seem no closer to that ever happening, let alone gettingBloodborne 2. Even playing the PS4 version on PlayStation 5 it only runs at 30fps. What’s more, fans are so desperate for a sequel, that a fanmadeBloodborne 2has been created using Unreal Engine 5and the results have been achingly beautiful.
The lack of an officialBloodborneremaster is even more baffling when you consider that FromSoftware has remastered at least two games from its back catalogue, includingDark SoulsandDark Souls IIboth of which were released for the PlayStation 4 as well as other platforms. So why hasn’tBloodbornereceived the same treatment, especially when fans desire its release so much, we can only speculate.

At this point, I feel like we might as well give up on theBloodborneremaster but then a part of me still thinks there’s a slight chance. Either way, whether it’s a remaster, remake or a simple PS5 patch, it’s surely a way for both FromSoftware and Sony Interactive Entertainment to print money, right?
Bloodborneis out now on PlayStation 4 and it is backwards compatible with PlayStation 5, at least.
