Speaking to fans in its latest tweet, Stellar Entertainment said, “Our way of giving you (kinda weird) insider intel about what we’re working on, without actually telling you what we’re working on… And the bosses still haven’t issued any takedowns! Happy days!”

Accompanying the message was an image reading, “POV: You’re about to be rear-ended,” so of course everyone thinks it has to be related to cars in some way.

Nothing has been confirmed at the time of writing so it’s unknown if it is related to Burnout, though it’d be a safe bet given Stellar Entertainment worked onBurnout Paradise: Remasteredseveral years ago. The line “rear-ended” is also a pretty clear indication it’s going to be a game about cars, but it could always end up being a brand-new IP.

Now all that’s left to do is hope and pray, though if it does turn out to be what we’re all thinking, Forza and Gran Turismo may have some serious competition on their hands.
