
According to a well-known leaker on Twitter, the nextCall of Dutygame we’ll see in 2025 (following the release of 2024’sCall of Duty: Black Ops 6) is going to be… more Black Ops.
No, you read that correctly. It sort of sounds like we’ll be getting something more akin toBlack Ops 7rather than something likeModern Warfare 4.

The leak also had a few details regarding the gameplay, such as the return of the omni-movement system and the ability to use other people as human shields (although it’s not clear whether said human shield would be useable in just the campaign or not).

Several classic maps and game modes will also make a return in the multiplayer too, such as Face-Off, Uplink and Gunfight.
Zombies will make a return, featuring a “classic” mode that is supposed to be akin to the ones in older Black Ops titles. Perhaps even more excitingly, they also stated that an eight player mode will be available too.
So, how likely is it that these leaks are real? As with everything leak-related, you should err on the side of caution. However, Fumo Leaks has been right about stuff in the past. Keep an eye out for any future announcements fromActivision, post-Black Ops 6.
