The update in question fixes the game’s theater mode, allowing players to relive some of their proudest multiplayer moments and collect those sweet, sweet killcam clips. It also fixes the Emblem Editor which lets players create their own images for their player cards.
It’s not the most exciting update, but given the game came out 12 years ago it’s certainly suspicious that Activision is choosing to update the game now. Not too long ago the Call Of Duty franchise made headlines due to theonline servers for several OG games coming back online, which was also seen as an indication the games would soon arrive on Xbox Game Pass. Neither Xbox or Activision Blizzard has commented on the recent update.
In other news, Xbox’s pivot to third-party gaming has officially kicked off with the announcement that four exclusive games will soon make their debut on the PlayStation 5. These includeSea Of Thieves, Grounded, Hi-Fi RushandPentimentand will gradually release on the PS5 over the next few weeks.
