
With the recentCall of Duty: Black Ops 6teaser trailer, many believed the new game would skip the previous generation of consoles and simply launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
It now appears that the game will launch on older hardware - PlayStation 4 and Xbox One - after all, according to an industry insider.

Additionally, this news also comes with the factoid that Nintendo Switch will see a release, though this is likely to land on the Switch follow-up hardware, a first for theCall of Dutyfranchise.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6will focus on theGulf Warwhich took place in the early 1990s in an attempt to liberate the people in the Gulf. While we did recently received ateaser trailerfrom Activision little is known on the game.
We can only speculate as to what we will see in the game when it releases. For example, we know that the bulk of the game will likely take place in the early 90s which means we won’t see some of the modern equipment and weapons we usually see inModern Warfare.

We could also see a storyline based on the oil and gold that existed in the Middle East at the time and that became such a hot topic since the war ended.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6is due for release later this year and will be the focus of a Microsoft showcase during Summer Games Fest.
