Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 seemingly teases Saddam Hussein as main antagonist

The next Call Of Duty Black Ops game is apparently teasing Saddam Hussein as the main antagonist, which could get a little controversial.

Later this year, specifically next month,Activision-Blizzardwill officially unveil the nextCall Of Dutygame following the upcomingXboxshowcase.

You can check out the teaser trailer forCall Of Duty: Black Ops 6below

If that title is confusing you, it’s likely due to the previous Black Ops game,Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, technically being the fifth game in the series, it just wasn’t numbered in the same way the previous four games were.

However theupcoming sixth gamewill follow its predecessor’s example of being set in the past, this time taking the series to theGulf War.

We see as much in theteaser trailer, and just like the real-life conflict it’s starting to look like Saddam Hussein will be our target in the campaign.

Of course for the time being it’s pure speculation, but we’re bound to know for sure when the big reveal takes place during next month’s showcase event.

Many have also begun speculating what the multiplayer and zombies mode will be like, but don’t get your hopes up to see them shown off during the official reveal, as if previous entries are to be used as reference they’re usually shown off separately.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6will launch sometime towards the end of the year, probably November, and will launch for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC, presumably skipping last-gen consoles.
