Call Of Duty drops trailer for open-world Zombies horror

This year will see another release in the Call of Duty series, which should come as no surprise to those who follow the franchise. After all, other than an odd exception, we’ve pretty much had a new Call of Duty game every year since its inception in 2003.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare IIIwill be the game of 2023, a reimagining ofMW3(2011) of the rebooted series which began in 2019. However, for the first time in theModern Warfareseries,MWIIIwill have its ownZombies mode and it will be open world. While we’re yet to see actual gameplay for the new Zombies mode,Activisionhas released an intense cinematic trailer that certainly helps to set the tone.

Zombies inModern Warfare IIIwill have a new telling of the Dark Aether story and will have ties toCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarandCall of Duty: Vanguard, as well as the recent reboots.

Aside from an over-the-top and high-octane single-player campaign and Zombies,Call of Duty: Modern Warfare IIIwill be a packed release with the addition of its traditional multiplayer modes which features16 remastered maps fromMW2(2009), not to mentionWarzone.

In other news, an insider claims thatZombies will soon be getting it’s own beta, and as with previous releases,Modern Warfare IIIwill also be having a multiplayer beta and thedates have been revealed.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare IIIwill be released on 10 November 2023 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
