Call Of Duty fans furious over Modern Warfare 3 pricing

Call Of Duty fans are criticising Activision for charging full-price for Call Of Duty Modern Warfare III.

Since itsreveal trailerlast week, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III has been decisiv, to say the least. While many are excited about the single-player campaign, especially after thatMakarov and Verdansktease, others are sceptical about the multiplayer.

Reportedly, maps featured in the online multiplayer were initially intended as DLC forCall Of Duty: Modern Warfare II,which was dropped and turned into the third game instead. The renownedCall Of Duty: Zombiesmode is also speculated tobecome free-to-play, prompting concern over microtransactions.

Now though, there’s a new piece of information that’striggeringCall Of Duty fans, the price of the new release.

The latest evidence suggestsCall Of Duty: Modern Warfare IIIwill be more like aDLC expansionrather than a standalone release. This has prompted outrage from the community, especially since Activision has confirmed it’ll be charging a premium price for the title.

The response from fans was what you’d expected, many of which are planning to skip the upcoming release and wait for the game to come out on Xbox Game Pass, once the deal betweenXboxandActivision Blizzardhas been finalised.

Fans will just have to wait and see what the state of the game is at launch, althoughPlayStationplayers will apparently get to try the game before anyone else, withexclusive access to its betaprovided they’ve preordered the game.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare IIIwill launch on the 10th of November later this year for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
