
With many games in the Call of Duty series to choose from, it can be quite a gruelling task to pick out a single favourite moment.
Since the series began all the way back in 2003,Call of Dutyhas been climbing the military ranks to become the world’s most popular first-person shooter on the market, knocking the likes of Medal of Honor andBattlefieldfrom its perch.

That being said, the series has had some inconsistencies with the likes ofCall of Duty 3, andVanguardas well as some questionable handheld releases. Still, for the most part, this series has offered over-the-top and high-octane single-player campaigns, robust multiplayer modes and for some entries, the endlessly funZombies mode.

However, for some, the reason that many gamers pick up the latest release is for its multiplayer offerings, and we’re not talking about the free-to-playWarzone. We’re talking about good old traditional multiplayer and perhaps no multiplayer in that respect hits quite like the OGModern Warfaregames.
Back in the day, I’d spend an incredible amount of hours playing theMW2(2009) multiplayer. There was just something about its tight gameplay, well-thought-out maps and progression system that kept me coming back for more.
