Call Of Duty: Vanguard named the worst COD of all-time by fans

Pretty much each and every year, we’re treated to a new Call of Duty entry for better or worse, and it’s very likely that we’ll get a few stinkers amongst the gems.

WhenCall of Dutywas originally released in 2003, I doubt many would have predicted the goliath that it would become today leavingBattlefieldand Medal of Honor in its shadow. Whether it’s a high-octane single-player campaign, traditional multiplayer or the free-to-play battle royaleWarzone, there are plenty of reasons why fans continue to come back for more.

“The worst Call of Duty game of all time is [blank],” asked the Call of Duty fan account CharlieIntel. There were many contenders in the thread, including the rebooted Modern Warfare series, but it does appear that 2021’sCall of Duty: Vanguardfrom Sledgehammer Games is mentioned more than most.

Inour reviewofCall of Duty: Vanguard, we said: “The campaign, albeit short, gives you a unique view of WWII at the heart of one of the deadliest squads. And the Zombies mode? It exists, but the less said about it, the better.”

As for the immediate future,Call of Duty: Modern Warfare IIIwill be released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox on 10 November 2023.
