If you’re a fan of Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel in the MCU, then you’re in for a treat.
While Carol Danvers was first teased in 2018’sAvengers: Infinity War, she starred in her ownMCUmovie in the 2019 prequelCaptainMarvel. Since that time, the foundations have been set for her to play a leading role in Earth’s mightiest heroes.

Now, even with multiverse shenanigans, it’s difficult to picture someone else other than Brie Larson playing the role ofCaptain Marvel. AfterThe Marvels, we don’t know exactly what the future holds for Carol Danvers, especially withThe Marvelsbeing a worldwide box office flop, grossing around $205 million from its reported $280 million budget, resulting in a massive financial loss.
What’s more, it is claimed that Captain Marvel might play a role in Avengers: Doomsday, currently expected to arrive in cinemas on 1 May 2026. That is not all, because Perez suggests that she might turn up inSpider-Man 4with Tom Holland, whenever that might be released.
