It’s not quite themassive 2025 shake upDoctor Strange fans are experiencing, but it’s still another piece of theMCUjigsaw we can place.

Let’s see what the road ahead at Marvel Studios looks like.

Speaking toVariety about their time inCaptain Marvel, Jude Law said that there wasn’t “much more” for his character.

In case you need a quick refresher, Law played the role of Yon-Rogg.

“I don’t think there was much more they could get out of Yon-Rogg,” revealed Law, “That, for me, was the height ofMarvel.”

Despite believing their time with Marvel is now over, Law remarked on how much he enjoyed the experience.

That said, he also wishes he could have had “more fun” with Yon-Rogg.

“It was a really good experience. I wish I’d been allowed to have a bit more fun with the part. I wanted him to be more arch. I wanted to lean into the humour more,” Law added.

Just because Law doesn’t feel his MCU character has a place in the narrative anymore, doesn’t mean that there isn’t still lore from the Kree-Skrull conflict to explore.

We could see more of that play out on the big screen, or maybe in a TV show, but there’s awild new seriesto come first.

It’s doubtful that anyone is devastated that Law won’t come back to the MCU, at least not as Yon-Rogg.

Nonetheless, it better helps the fandom to predict what stories will be told when we learn of an actor’s departure/return.
