In a bizarre turn of events, a Chucky doll has been arrested in Mexico after it and its owner were reportedly terrorising members of the public with a knife.

With the doll also getting handcuffed and even propped up for a mugshot, an officer involved in the detainment was accused of not taking their job seriously. So much so that the official Chucky Twitter account reposted the imagesaying“I was framed”. Since then, many fans of the killer doll took to social media to show their support with one writing “#FreeChucky”.
It is yet unclear as to whether Chucky will be doing any jail time but let us hope this won’t start a trend of murderous dolls on the streets.
