Fans of Call of Duty will know that hackers are a persistent problem that even occurs in the most recent entries. Hackers will not only shoot from underneath the map but through walls and even have auto-aim and invisibility cheats.

“My first game back onMW2on Xbox there was a guy on my team who had a gun that shot AC-130 bullets. The other team didn’t stand a chance,” exclaimed another Reddit user. “Been playing OGMW2for about 5 hours since servers were “fixed”. I’ve run into maybe one hacker, if that. I’ve been lucky I guess,” said temetnoscesax.

It shouldn’t really baffle me all that much that hackers are still ruining Call of Duty multiplayer for games that are a decade old, give or take. Hopefully, with Activision fixing the matchmaking issues, they might finally move on to tackling the hackers, but I won’t be holding my breath.
