Rejoice anime fans. Cruncyroll has just announced that it’s launching a new free 24-hour anime channel in the US.
In a world where the price of streaming services just keeps on rising, it’s refreshing to hear of something that is totally free. As I’m sure you’re aware,Netflixcracked downon password sharing earlier this year, forcing most of us to pay an extra supplementary fee in order to retain access to a friend or family member’s account. Expect to do the same onDisneyPlus soon. The streamer is next in line tocrackdown on password sharing. If you find yourself mainly using your subscriptions to watch anime though and you just so happen to live in the US, you’re definitely going to want to watch Crunchyroll’s brand new channel.
Speaking of Disney Plus, season two ofLokihas just gotten underway.

For now, the channel is showing older anime shows - but they’re absolute bangers. Series being aired includeHorimiya, Ranking of Kings, Moriarty the Patrio, Psycho-Pass, Arifureta, Sugar Apple Fairy Tail, To Your Eternity, andCode Geass. If you tune in, you’ll notice that English dubs are being shown.
If you want to watch newer series, you’ll need to subscribe to Cruncyroll’s subscription based streaming services. You may recall that PlayStation recently announced that it hopes to add a Crunchyroll channel to thenewly launched Sony Pictures Coreon PS4/5 consoles. Hopefully, that too will be free.
