It’s the end. But the moment has been prepared for.Cyberpunk 2077may be wrapping up, but it turns out it actually has one last gift left to give.
If you’ve been keeping track of the news, last week it emerged thatCyberpunk 2077was finally being laid to restas staff atCD Projekt REDwere moved onto new projects: namelyThe Witcher 4and the sequel toCyberpunk 2077.
Given there are apparently precisely zero people working onCyberpunk 2077at the moment, you’d be forgiven for assuming that was it for updates. Not so.

As it turns out,Cyberpunk 2077is getting one final (surely?) update that’s adding a feature a lot of fans have been waiting for.
FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR3)… eventually.
A quick primer on FSR3 for those of you who might not know: it’s basically a bit of tech that boosts the framerate of a game. That’s it. That’s all you need to know.

Anyway, CDPR told IGN that despite the fact there iscurrentlyno developer working onCyberpunk 2077, that doesn’t mean the team has forgotten about implementing FSR3.
“We are still working on the FSR3 support forCyberpunk 2077, but I do not have an update on its availability just yet,” a spokesperson confirmed.
So we may be in for a bit of a wait while CDPR focuses on its new projects, but it’s nice to know there’s at least one moreCyberpunk 2077update waiting for us somewhere down the road.
This is probably just as well, given I don’t think we’ll be seeing the sequel toCyberpunk 2077for a very, very long time.
