Cyberpunk 2077 developer just gave us a big excuse to return to Night City

I don’t know about you but I hardly need an excuse to return to Night City. After all, CD Projekt RED have crafted such an exquisitely detailed open-world inCyberpunk 2077.

That being said, I may just have found one.

That shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. From ahidden vaultto a lesser-knownencounter with Idris Elba’s Solomon Reed, to this day,Cyberpunk 2077fans continue to bring to light a plethora of exciting discoveries.

According to developers, there are plenty more undiscovered Easter eggs to be found.

In aninterviewwith GamesRadar,Phantom Libertyquest designer Maria Mazur said, “I feel like there are so many Easter eggs,” adding that she’s “just waiting for people to find them”.

“Someone drove the main character into the ocean,” she explained. “And I actually had this secured just in case - I weaved in a scenario with dialog and stuff. So I was happy to see that someone actually did that."

“I think those moments are kind of precious. When you’re trying to anticipate someone’s actions, and you’re leaving this little surprise for someone, and then finally, years later, you can see that they actually found it.”

I guess now we’ve got to try driving into the ocean … in the name of discovery and adventure.

Mazur said there are plenty of her own additions to the game that have as-yet gone undiscovered, so just think how many hidden details there are when you take into account the work of all the game’s developers.
