
That’s right, a collaboration betweenNetflix, CD Projekt Red and Cyberpunk is in the works which means we could soon be seeing another television adaptation based on the futuristic world ofCyberpunk 2077.

There is no denying that this news comes after the success of 2022’sCyberpunk: Edgerunners,a Netflix anime based on the award-winningCD Projekt RedRPG.
Telling the story of a street kid from Night City who tries to survive in a world obsessed with body modification and technology, the anime saw an extra boost toCyberpunk 2077’s popularity so it is no wonder that Netflix is eager to get into the action once again.
Thetrailer, which dropped unceremoniously throughout the night, is just a quick 20 second teaser which shows the infamous Netflix logo receiving the Cyberpunk glitch treatment.
“Return to Night City”, the tagline reads, alongside the Cyberpunk logo but not much else is known quite yet.

As you can imagine, fans are speculating as to what the newseriescould be.
Will it be aCyberpunk: Edgerunnerssequel or another series entirely?
Either way, withCyberpunk 2077becoming one of the most-loved RPGs in recent years, there is no denying that millions of fans will be tuning in when it drops in the future.
“Night City is the most unforgettable location in gaming for me,” one comment read.

We may have to wait a while until we receive more information about this project but it is an exciting time for fans ofCyberpunk 2077.
