I’m sure I’m not the one to break it to you when I say thatCyberpunk 2077’s sequel remains many years away.
Let’s face it,CD Projekt REDisn’t going to rush the game.

More crucially though, CD Projekt RED is full steam ahead on the next instalment inThe Witcherseries.
That itself has only just left pre-production, so we likely won’t see it land for four years or so.
If full development isn’t set to begin onCyberpunk 2077’s sequel, codenamedProject Orion, until after then, you can see why I’m suggesting that you should pace your hype.
In the meantime, there is a live-action adaptation ofCyberpunk 2077in the works which could potentially land sooner.

Unfortunately, the mod isn’t ready just yet - but it’s not far off.
YouTuber JuiceHead previously took part in a beta test, adding that‘CyberMP’ ran “shockingly well” which is music to our ears.

Creator s1nger is now working on a pre-alpha, ironing out a few creases - including stiff player animations which is an issue some playtesters raised.
The alpha version has, in fact, already received a trailer showing off the new animations, bug fixes, and improved synchronisation.
You can take a look below.
There’s no word yet on how/if you’ll be able to get involved in the alpha test, but you can join the mod’sDiscordchannel to be kept in the loop.
