Fans are confident that the new version of the game has completed its journey of redemption, after the disastrous launch that initially hindered the game’s success.
That being said, while the new update brought plenty of great changes to gameplay and Night City, it also came with its fair share of bugs and performance issues.
This includes a game-breaking bug that would corrupt your save file if you were playing on PlayStation 5, which would potentially delete hours of progress depending on when the bug hit you. This has since been fixed but unfortunately, nothing can be done to save files that have already been corrupted, meaning some players will have to start a new game regardless of the patch.
