Cyberpunk 2077 player manages to hit level cap before opening credits roll

Someone has managed to hitCyberpunk 2077’slevel cap before the opening credits popped up, because why not waste 50 hours making the game way less fun, I guess?

Thank you in advance toRyan Dinsdale over on IGNfor originally covering the story!

After you complete whichever prologue background mission you chose for V inCD Projekt RED’sCyberpunk 2077, there are a grand total of five main story missions you cannot skip before making it to the final mission in Act 1, ‘The Heist’.

In between the missions ‘The Information’ and ‘The Heist’, the opening credits roll. That means, to pull this off, Reddit useruO___Ouhad to limit the challenge entirely to the Watson district - as you can’t actually explore the rest of the map until the conclusion of ‘The Heist’.

Well, actually, that last bit isn’t true - but the game isn’tsupposedto let you leave Watson anyway.

“Done with some exploits. There is a decent farming spot in Watson but it’s too slow so you need to leave Watson with some exploit. Leaving Watson early doesn’t break the game in anyway,” they revealed in their comment.

Cyberpunk 2077has undergone a major transformation in recent years.

“None of the content (Gigs, Assault in Progress, Side Jobs, Cyberpsycho, etc.) outside Watson starts until after you finish ‘The Heist’ so it’s fine leaving, the only thing you can do is unlock the fast travel points. Then go to Pacifica, Batty’s Hotel for, in my experience, the best farming spot. Repeat it over and over and over.”

“Took me 40 hrs but tbh, if I did this more efficiently, it can take me less than 35 hours. Just don’t forget to sleep every hour for exp boost and to use different weapons for your sanity and for skill progression.”
