Cyberpunk 2077 sequel and The Witcher 4 gets important microtransaction update

Could theCyberpunk 2077sequel andthe Witcher 4be yet another series of games that succumb to microtransactions? It’s something a lot of die-hard fans are worried about.

However, as far asCD Projekt Redis concerned, it has no intention of introducing this mechanic into single-player experiences. That being said, the same post explains that CDPR will consider microtransactions for multiplayer games.

The full post shared on Twitter reads: “We do not see a place for microtransactions in the case of single-player games, but we do not rule out that we will use this solution in the future in the case of multiplayer projects.”

Before anyone doubts the source of this information, Twitter user @HazzadorGamin found the information from an interview with some of the CDPR team. Not that it’s stopped fans from doubting the information; one response says, “Didn’t they say thatCyberpunkruns surprisingly well on the consoles before launch? I will believe when i see it, these PR talks means nothing to me.”

Others, however, are much more optimistic about the future of both The Witcher andCyberpunk 2077,saying, “I maintain my faith in CDPR good decisions and hope for the best!”

Numerous games are starting to include microtransactions, much to the dismay of gamers. However, for the time being, it seems two popular franchises are safe from that fate.
