The nextCyberpunk 2077game has sort of received a release window from CD Projekt Red, sort of…

In many ways it feels likeCyberpunk 2077has only just ended, as it’s finally the game everyone wanted it to be at launch so if you haven’t played it yet, I couldn’t recommend it enough.

All we know so far is that it’lluse Unreal Engine 5, and will obviously tell a different story to its predecessor, though there’s a chance it’ll make one of the endings canon and continue the story in that way.

Recently CD Projekt Red spoke about its upcoming projects, mainly the Cyberpunk sequel and the highly-anticipatedThe Witcher 4.

Also said to be in development is aremake of the original Witcher game, a great idea considering it’s the only game that wasn’t released on consoles.

It has recently been confirmed that the majority of CD Projekt Red staff are working onThe Witcher 4, making it the next big release the company has planned.

Second toThe Witcher 4is Project Orion, which is the unnamedCyberpunk 2077sequel, so we can likely expect that to release a few years after the Witcher continuation.

All of this is pure speculation, and CD Projekt Red has neglected to provide any launch dates or even what years it plans to release projects in, a wise move while they’re still in the early stages of development.

Rest assured though, they are on their way and following all the backlashCyberpunk 2077received it’s nice to see the developer tempering expectations and ensuring all future projects have enough time to cook.
