Key to this theory is the tagline of the advert which says it’s “coming in 2080” causing this fan to wonder if the next game will be calledCyberpunk 2080.
There is no official word on this, it’s purely speculation.

Fans are torn on this idea and are making their voices heard.
“This is just world building through advertising, Night City is the main character of Cyberpunk, I feel like it would be interesting to see other cities within this universe, but it wouldn’t feel the same,”says one Redditor.
