They noted that CDPR have confirmed thatProject Orionwill enter pre-production oncePhantom Libertyis released - althoughThe Witcher 4remains the main developmental focus. Well,Cyberpunk 2077entered pre-production afterThe Witcher 3: Blood and Winewas released in 2016.Cyberpunk 2077then released in 2020, meaning it had a four year development cycle.

IfProject Orionis entering pre-production now, it could reasonably be released in 2027. Clearly,Cyberpunk 2077could’ve done with a bit more time in the oven though so perhaps 2028 is a safer bet.
