Personally, I skippedCyberpunk 2077until this patch dropped as it seems to be more in the image of what the designers and developers originally wanted to achieve. It’s clear that a lot of players are either returning or giving the game a chance now the inconsistencies have stabilised.

Now is definitely the right time to jump back into Night City. So many of the game’s key mechanics have been overhauled, including the levelling system and the armour usage. The NCPD AI has been dramatically improved to be smarter and more ruthless.
So much has changed that the developers,CDProjekt Red, are suggestingthat players start from scratch rather than carry on their previous save files - which is a nice excuse to try out a new character path and build, too.
With the 2.0 patch, PC players also have a wealth of graphics options to try out, including the new DLSS options and a specific upgrade to ray tracing, ray pathing, though it’s only available to those with an RTX 4000 series GPU.
