Cyberpunk 2077’s next big update will fix the game’s most concerning error

Is there a more concerning sentence than ‘corrupted save files’?Cyberpunk 2077PlayStation 5 players are having to deal with a rare issue where their save game files are corrupting, wiping out the progress made in the game. There’s nothing worse than starting up a game and seeing that your save is wrecked and you have to start all over again.

Thankfully,CD Projekt Redare aware and they’re hard at work on a fix that will arrive in the game’s 2.01 update. According to a blog on the developer’s website, the patch is"coming soon"and will fix not only the corrupting issue, but also game crashes that players have reported.

There will also be “performance improvements” rolling out on PC and consoles. The patch “highlights” are as follows:

CD Projekt Red note that players should “stay tuned for more details” which suggests more fixes will be included in the patch.
