Daredevil: The Man Without Fear gameplay appears online

Matthew Murdock ‘The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen’ aka Daredevil is one of Marvel’s most popular characters since his inception all the way back in 1964.

Since that time he’s featured in countless comic books and even starred in his ownNetflixlive-action series starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock. There’s also a new series coming toDisneyPlus which sees Cox reprise his role. Sadly, recent reports have claimed that shooting for Disney’sDaredevilseries has been scrappedto start all over again.

Other than having his own dedicated game for the Game Boy Advance in 2003, ‘The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen’ has had to make do with cameo appearances in the likes ofMarvel: Ultimate Alliance,Marvel vs. Cacom 3: Fate of Two Worlds,LEGO Marvel Superheroesand more.

Recent gossip suggests that Daredevil may appear inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2DLCor developerInsomniac Gamescould be working on a new standalone game. However, Daredevil was supposed to get his own video game on PlayStation 2, until that project was reportedly cancelled in 2003.

Unfortunately at this time, there doesn’t appear to be any gameplay footage in motion ofDaredevil: The Man Without Fear, but if we’re lucky, perhaps that might appear online in the coming months. We’ll have our fingers crossed.

That being said, during the 2000s when video game movie tie-ins were extremely popular, most of those adaptations sucked, big time as they were often considered to be quick cash grabs. This cancelled game would have released at around the same time as the 2003 movie starring Ben Affleck. So perhaps we were all saved from that pain and that is why this game was ultimately cancelled.
