Dark Souls is without a doubt one of my favourite video game trilogies of all time, and I’m thrilled to hear Dark Souls 3 could be getting a remaster even if other fans are not.
That said, I can understand the frustration fans may be feeling as it’s been years and we’ve still not gotten thatBloodborneremaster despite all the power of thePlayStation5 and the newly releasedPlayStation 5 Pro.

Yet according to the latest rumours FromSoftware is currently working on a remaster forDark Souls 3, likely just an enhanced version that boosts the resolution and increases the framerate, nothing too crazy.

Obviously take this with a pinch of salt but it’d make sense since we already have aDark Soulsremaster, andDark Souls 2: Scholar Of The First Sinissort ofa remaster but that’s debatable.
Fans haven’t taken the rumour well though, with many up in arms about howBloodborneisn’t getting the remaster treatment despite being the older game.
“Dark Souls 3remaster beforeBloodborne? We’re living in a Dark Souls loop,” added another, and honestly they’re not wrong as it feels like we’ll get anElden Ringremaster before Bloodborne gets another chance to shine.

That said other fans like me are up for a return to Lothric, with one saying “I don’t feel like DS3 is dated enough to need a remaster but I’ll gladly take it if it does happen.”
Again take the rumours of aDark Souls 3remaster with a grain of salt, as until it’s officially announced it’s best to act like it doesn’t exist.
