Dark Souls anime coming to Netflix, insider claims

Netflix will apparently soon be home to yet another exciting video game adaptation, as insiders claim that aDark Soulsanime series will be launching on the streaming service in the future.

Already,Netflixis home to a number of shows based on popular video game series, includingTekken: Bloodline, Castlevania,andCyberpunk: Edgerunners. Even more shows are currently in the works, too, such as theHorizon Zero Dawnadaptationand thelive-action Assassin’s Creed series.

Anyway, Giant Freakin Robotreportsthat, according to its sources, Netflix is now developing aDark Soulsanime series. It’s claimed that the series is likely to commence with the events of the first game, which isn’t really surprising. So, if it’s to be believed, it sounds like we’ll be stepping back into the kingdom of Lordran.
