At the end ofRevenge of the Sith, we see the badly defeated Anakin on an operating table to be rebuilt as Lord Darth Vader sporting his swanky new outfit, which alsohides a grotesque secretthat we wish we never knew.

It is said that Dr Cylo worked closely with Emperor Palpatine to create biomechanical hybrids and was a keen admirer of General Grievous, a master strategist Kaleesh cyborg who we first met in the animated seriesStar Wars: Clone Warsand then as a loyal servant to Count Dooku inStar Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones.

It is also claimed that Dr Cylo even tried to defeat Lord Darth Vader in battle and hoped that a kill switch that was installed in the suit intended to leave the Sith Lord crippled when activated would be the key to his success. However, let’s just say that it never ended well for the doctor.
