The PlayStation 5 is getting yet another remaster, though this time it’s for a game that actually deserves one.
So far thePlayStation5 library has consisted of some banging exclusives, but alsotoo many remastersof games that really didn’t need a touch-up anytime soon, like bothThe Last Of Usgames,Marvel’s Spider-Manand potentiallyHorizon: Zero Dawn.
Give it a few months and there’ll probably be PS5 Pro remaster ofAstro Bot…
There’s currently no confirmation thatHorizon: Zero Dawnis getting a PS5 remaster, though it’s speculated one exists.

Additionally it’s now being said thatDays Goneis another remaster Sony has in the works, and the official reveal will take place during the next State Of Play event.
For those who haven’t playedDays Gone, it’s a zombie-survival game that can be best described asSons Of AnarchymeetsLeft 4 Dead/World War Z.

Zombies in the game move in massive hordes that stop for nothing, and while it didn’t score favourably with initial reviews many players loved it and hoped for a sequel that unfortunately never came.
The game’s main character Deacon also appeared inAstro Bot, which the character’s creator waswoefully annoyed aboutfor some reason.
While it didn’t have the most success the first time around, perhaps a true remaster and a bit of bonus content is just what it needs to get a new lease on life.
If the remaster is real and announced during the next State Of Play, depending on its success we could finally get that sequel the series deserves so much, fingers-crossed it happens.
