Rumours kicked off back in September ahead of the announcement thatHorizon Zero Dawnwould be receiving a remaster.
Alongside theHZDremaster, some Sony insiders claimed thatDays Gonewould also be receiving a similar remaster in the future.
Now in recent weeks, ResetEra userdex3108has noticed that the SteamDB listing forDays Gonehas received anincreasein activity which could mean that there is work going on behind the scenes.

Last but not least, Steam has recently markedDays Gonedown to just £9.99 thanks to an impressive75% off sale.
This offer ends at midnight on 12 December which coincidentally is the same time thatThe Game Awards2024 goes live.
Could this mean that tonight is the night that aDays Goneremaster is announced?
