With Frank West being the go-getting journalist that he is, he quite literally jumps into Willamette Mall to get the scoop which eventually unravels into a mass government cover-up. In terms of gameplay, you have three in-game days to escape the shopping mall with the scoop and in the process, you’ll be rescuing human survivors and slaying hundreds of the undead with just about any weapon you can get your mitts on.

Dead Risingwas also a very tough game and enemies such as the convicts in the Jeep will likely give you PTSD the moment you hear their theme song play. However,Dead Risingis an absolute blast and the announcement of this ‘Deluxe Remaster’ will be music to the ears of fans.

Well, the announcement ofDead Rising Deluxe Remasterwill excite most fans but it seems that some are not happy with the design of its protagonist, Frank West. “Man, what have wars done to Frank,” said Twitter user coyote_knight, replying to the video posted on the official Dead Rising account with imkvrt adding “What they have done to poor Frank.”

To be fair, his voice does sound slightly different but yet, a little familiar too. It certainly does not appear to be the same voice as Frank West inDead Rising 4, but I could be wrong. That being said, there’s no denying the fact that no matter how this remaster looks and sounds, it’s likely going to be one of the most fun games we’ll play this year or next.

At this time,Dead Rising Deluxe Remasterdoes not have a release date or confirmed platforms. All we know at this time is that we’ll learn more at Capcom Next streaming live on Monday, 1 July 2024.
