This weekend marks the latest of Xbox’sFree Play Dayswhere a bunch of titles become, you guessed it, free to play for a limited time. The event is already underway, having kicked off on Thursday 19 October at 12am PDT. It’ll run until Sunday 22 October at 11.59pm PDT. There are four games on offer:NBA 2K24, Lawn Mowing Simulator, Diablo IV, andHokko Life.

For the most part, you do have to be an Xbox Game Pass subscriber in order to join in the fun. I say ‘for the most part’, as there is an exception this time around.Diablo IVis available for all players to enjoy, regardless of whether you’re a Game Pass subscriber or not. The only catch is that the free trial caps out at 10 hours, but 10 hours is plenty of time to see if you gel with the game.
Xbox said that these kinds of timed trials allow them to “get newer games into the program faster” so you should expect to see more in the future. But what are you waiting for? Dive in.
