Diablo 4 massive new update reverses almost every bad change from previous patch

The latest patch update has been revealed forDiablo IVand it’s brought with it a ton of changes undoing a number of controversial alterations made in the previous update.

DiabloIVhas been a major success for Activision Blizzard, and I very much expect that it’ll gain a number of year-end awards nominations. The game mademore money in one weekthan mobile releaseDiablo Immortal- which is heavy on the microtransactions - did in an entire year. In fact, it hit a sales milestone of$666 million in just five days- a very apt number. It’s alsoBlizzard’s fastest selling game. The achievements just don’t stop. The game did come under fire in recent weeks for a patch thatseemed to nerf one of the game’s major classesamongst other things. That seems to have now been rectified though.

Take a look atDiablo IVin action below.

Patch 1.1.1 is set to release on 8 August, and the developers have heard fans' concerns loud and clear. It’s been confirmed that, much to the relief of players, the Barbarian and Sorcerer classes are getting buffed, as will the Druid and Necromancer classes.

A new stash tab will be added, and you’ll be able to stack up to 99 Elixers in the inventory to save on space. Devs also revealed that gaining XP will be more bountiful post reaching level 50, so getting to level 100 will no longer be so much of a grind. The cost of altering your build will be reduced, and mount charge attacks will now break through barricades. All in all, it sounds like a solid update. Full patch notes are due to drop today.
