Diablo IV’s first season hasn’t even finished yet and we’re already getting an announcement about the next. The news came courtesy of Gamescom 2023’s ONL, withSeason of Bloodpromising lots of blood (obviously), vampires, and community requested improvements.
Blizzard isn’t exactly a popular publisher at this moment in time, mainly because of the absolute fiasco thatOverwatch 2has turned into. Do we have to remind people that the game is currently ranked asone of the worst Steam games ever? We didn’t think so. With that in mind, when the trailer for the new season started to play, many gamers sat quietly wondering if they needed to be annoyed or happy. MostD4fans finished that trailer with a smile on their faces, which is always a win forBlizzardin this climate.

Although the bloodbath of vampiric battle always wins over crowds, it’s actually the in-game quality of life changes that are really attracting attention, most notably that you can now carry over Skill Points, Potion Charges, Paragon Points, etc to the next season. Though, as with so many things, you need to make sure you do a very specific action first; inD4, you need to have achieved those items with a previous Seasonal Realm Character or an Eternal.
What Blizzard shared is “just a slice of what’s in store”, so if you want to know what elseSeason of Bloodholds for you bloodthirsty hunters, make sure to put 17 October into your diaries.
