
Dino Crisis is a series that Capcom has seemingly forgotten about over the years, that was until now.
Yesterday’s State of Play event was a packed 30 minutes with new announcements such as theGhost of Tsushimasequel, a remastered collection ofThe Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaverand confirmation of theHorizon Zero Dawnremasterand much more.

One other announcement that was met with a lot of excitement is that Capcom’sDino Crisisis coming toPlayStation PlusClassics next month alongsideBlood Omen: Legacy of Kain. The originalDino Crisiswas released in 1999 for the PlayStation and is widely considered to beResident Evilwith dinosaurs.

While its sequel that arrived the following year was the beginning of the series evolving into action over horror, the originalDino Crisisis still looked upon favourably after all this time.
Granted, this might not be theDino Crisis remakethat fans have longed for, but the fact that we’ll get to play thisCapcomclassic in glorious HD on modern PlayStation consoles is wonderful. Being somewhat over-optimistic, this could be Capcom testing the waters for the highly requested remake.
