Whether you like him or not, Dr Disrespect is without question one of the most popular and successful content creators on the planet.
There once was a time when Dr Disrespect could be found on Twitch, however, when thecontent creator was bannedfrom the platform in June 2020, he moved over toYouTube. On the Google-owned platform, the Dr has over 4.5 million subscribers and his livestreams regularly venture into the hundreds of thousand views. So it’s fair to say that despite theTwitchban, the Dr landed firmly on his feet.

Outside of content creation, you may have also seen the Dr collaborate with companies such as Turtle Beach promoting accessories including thefantastic Stealth Pro gaming headset, and he’s even started his own video game development studio called the Midnight Society with its first video game beingDeadropdescribed as a ‘vertical extraction shooter’. Oh, and it’s also a game that features NFTs.

It should come as little surprise that Dr Disrespect has entered the world of video game development, and that’s not just because he’s a successful content creator. In 2011, the Dr began his four-year stint withCall of Dutystudio, Sledgehammer Games where he was appointed as its community manager. So other than content creation, he’s often had a close connection with the industry.
Naturally, many are dubious about the quality of the Drs upcoming video game. This could be due to the fact that it’s his first video game and that it hasNFTs. Regardless, until the game is released into the wild and has finished its development, we won’t know its true quality until then.
