Not only was hedropped from the studio he co-founded mid-stream, but he’s now facing significant backlash and disapproval after his controversial admission regarding said Twitch ban.

His statement reads, “Were there twitch whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017? The answer is yes. Were there real intentions behind these messages, the answer is absolutely not. “
It continues, “These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more. Nothing illegal happened, no pictures were shared, no crimes were committed, I never even met the individual.”
As one Twitter user remarked, “So many words just to say u were texting a minor inappropriately.”

Those watching this scene unfold found it highly telling that theYouTuber kept editing his post to remove then re-add the word minor.
Regardless of the intention behind his behaviour, though, as user @sapharic put it, “It is so truly weird that someone who was around 38/39 years old with a FAMILY would feel any inclination to have ANY convo with a minor he met on the internet.”
