It’s fair to say that the Dragon Age series from BioWare is one of the most beloved RPGs in video game history but fans have had to wait a decade for its latest arrival.

Following years of rumours and teases, publisher Electronic ArtsrevealedDragon Age: The Veilguardearlier this year and it did not disappoint fans, well, mostly.

WhenEArevealed thefirst gameplayforDragon Age: The Veilguard, it also teased that it would be released later this year, though no solid release date was confirmed. Thankfully, developer BioWare teased that that highly anticipated release date will be announced at some point today (at the time of writing).
What’s more, if you were hoping to see new gameplay in the release date trailer, those hopes need to be neutered, because it’s a condensed version of the gameplay revealed in June 2024 into a short 20+ second trailer.
