A major update is set to land inDying Light 2: Stay Humanin a few days time. Just over two years after the game was released, developers have finally made the decision to add guns.
It’s been a rollercoaster couple of months forDying Light 2. On one hand, it’s great to see that developers are still so generous with content drops. That being said, therecent addition of microtransactionsdidn’t go over all that well with players, leading toa slew of bad reviewsonline. While microtransactions are still present in the game, the dust does appear to have settled on that debacle. More recently,the Year of the Dragon event droppedto time with the celebration of Chinese New Year. Already though, our focus is required elsewhere as the firearms update is finally on the way.

In just a few days, on 22 February to be exact,Dying Light 2: Stay Human - Reloaded Editionis set to launch which includes both the base game andBloody TiesDLC. It’s also due to include a highly requested update that introduces firearms to the melee-focused game. The update will drop for all players, so don’t worry if you don’t plan on buying theReloaded Edition.

Adding firearms toDying Light 2isn’t as simple as it sounds. Developers have had to narratively come up with a way to explain why guns are suddenly available in this melee-focused world. As for what they came up with? I guess we’ll find out on 22 February.
