It’s Gamescom Opening Night Live, and a new Dying Light game just got announced calledDying Light: The Beast.

We last saw Kyle Crane when he supposedly died at the end ofDying Light: The Following, but somehow he’s still alive and kicking.
Sporting a slightly more sinister look and some new skills we see Kyle slashing away at zombies while showing off his flashy parkour techniques.
The new open-world looks breathtaking thanks to it releasing on new-gen hardware, and hopefully that’s reflected in the amount of zombies we’ll have to contend with.

One of the more disappointing aspects ofDying Light 2: Stay Humanwas how unthreatening the infected hordes actually felt, as it was the humans that acted as the real antagonists towards the player.
It feels likeDying Light: The Beastwill be a different animal, no pun intended, and put the focus of a zombie survival game where it needs to be, the infection that’s ravaging the area.
Dying Light: The Beastunfortunately doesn’t have a release date at the time of writing, but we’ll probably find out soon enough.
