Yet to jump on theElden Ringbandwagon but are itching to do so because of just how incredible the upcomingShadow of the Erdtreeexpansion looks? You’re going to want to heed this warning.
The release ofElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtreeis almost upon us. On 21 June, we’ll journey away from the Lands Between to the mysterious Land of Shadow.
The Land of Shadow is said to be larger than the base game’s Limgrave and, naturally, it’ll be filled with new formidable foes.

As an extra tidbit,FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki has already teased that Messmer’s throne is the same one from the palace where you fight Morgott.
This will likely mean nothing to you if you’re yet to actually playElden Ring. If you fall into that category then I have an important warning to impart asShadow of the Erdtreewon’t be accessible until you’ve beaten several of the base game’s toughest bosses.
Take a look atElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree’s trailer below.
Shadow of the Erdtreeis not an expansion for the untrained Tarnished. You’re going to have to prove yourself if you want to enter the Land of Shadow to try and take down Messmer the Impaler.

If you want to journey to this location, you’re going to have to tick Starscourge Radahn and Mohg Lord of Blood off your hit list.
Let’s start off with Starscourge Radahn. This is the enormous fella on the very tiny horse. He’s pretty nifty with his spears so you’re going to want to stay nimble if you’re to best this colossal titan.
As for Mohg, I’m going to describe him as a many-horned goat man. This boss specialises in bloodflame and bleed effects making him a colossal pain in the ass to deal with.

It’s actually Mohg that abducted Miquella so I’m imagining he’ll somehow tie into the plot of the DLC.
You’re going to want to be levelled between 70 and 100 to take on these two foes so don’t rush into them in order to reach the DLC.
