We’re approaching one year since the expansion was announced and two years sinceElden Ringitself was launched so a FebruaryShadow of the Erdtreedrop feels very likely. Add in the fact that FromSoftware recentlyupdated the game’s files on Steamand thattwoElden Ringmerch collabs are on the wayin February and it’s all looking rather suspicious. We do know thatFromSoftwareloves to drop information at the most random of times, so we’re certainly keeping a beady eye out for news. In the meantime,Elden Ringplayers who are craving a fresh challenge may want to partake in the upcomingDungeon Stalkersplaytest.

There are six playable characters to choose from and over 50 skills and perks to acquire. Your goal: escape or die. There’s no set release date for the game just yet but a playtest will be held to coincide with Steam Next Fest from 5 to 12 February. Anyone can get involved.
