A year after the successful launch ofElden Ring, developer FromSoftware dropped the news that we will be treated to its expansion,Shadow of the Erdtree. Yet, since that time, we’ve not had a release date or even a snippet of gameplay for expansion. However, if recent rumours are to be believed,Shadow of the Erdtreemight be releasedvery soon.
UntilShadow of the Erdtreearrives and beyond, modders have been hard at work making the likes ofElden Ringan even better experience for fans and onemodin question, simply named ‘Texture Improvement’ does exactly what it says on the tin and then some.
What’s more, not only have the worldly textures been improved upon but so too have the in-game maps, some armours have benefited from an added metallic shine and even the draw distance has been improved. You will however require a GPU with a minimum requirement of 7GB of VRAM and installElden Ringon an SSD to take full advantage of this glorious mod.
