Elden Ring player plans to sue FromSoftware over game’s difficulty

A post has appeared on Twitter detailing the journey one 4Chan user is going through to take Fromsoftware to court because they believe the game holds a second game inside of it.

I will do my best to break that down for you as it’s as odd as it sounds.

We absolutely loved theElden RingDLC,Shadow of the Erdtree

Thepost on Twittergoes into great depth and features some hilarious replies, but it’s also quite long-winded.

Essentially, the 4Chan user believes that all of Fromsoftware’s games feature a hidden game within them, and because the games are too hard, not even the most dedicated fans will ever see them.

They go on to give examples fromSekiroandBloodborne, both examples being something we were shown during the promotion of the game that never made it to the final product.

Now, I’ve watched hundreds of hours ofElden Ringlore and cut content (honestly, it’s a problem) and I can say, with full confidence, that there is not another game inside The Lands Between.

Firstly, the game would have taken longer to develop. Secondly, dataminers would have found much more than what has been shown on YouTube.

People likeSekiro Dubi, who specialises in mining cut content and recreating it for YouTube, would have a field day if a whole other game was found.

It seems what this boils down to is that a lot of players simply don’t see things because it’s hidden behind a challenging portion of the game.

Of course, the case will likely be thrown out. I’ll leave thisTwitter replyhere because it’s golden, “Can’t wait without glee for the FROMSOFT lawyer to take the podium and say just three words: ‘skill issue, bro.’”
