That is definitely the case for one user who has revealed that they had sunk over 360 hours into the game before realizing that players have the ability to summon a mount.
The news comes from r/Eldenring which saw one userreveala Discord conversation between the poorElden Ringplayer and others in the channel.
Additionally, not having this jump ability makes reaching certain areas of the map impossible so it is safe to assume that the player has missed out on quite a bit of content.

As a result, the poor user admitted that they had “never touched” Torrent despite having almost 400-hours in the game and fans are understandably baffled.
“Did he just pay ZERO attention to the game he was playing?” read one comment. “I have a hard time believing that he has NEVER used Torrent, much less not even knowing he exists in almost 400 hours of gameplay.”
Ahead of the release ofShadow of the Erdtree,which is reported to feature a brand-new area, we can only hope that they are now taking advantage of the game’s handy mount.
