
After waiting what feels like an eternity for theElden RingDLC, it’s understandable that gamers are looking to power their way through it; such is their eagerness. Yet, if they’re to truly appreciate this expansion, they need to calm down.

This mechanic is unique to the DLC area, meaning you won’t experience it outside of the Land of Shadow. According to aninterviewwithFromSoftwarepresident Hidetaka Miyazaki, “You will best understand it if you imagine something akin to Attack Power inSekiro: Shadows Die Twice. It’s something like an Attack Power separate from existing levels that is only effective within the DLC area.”

This will undoubtedly help when facing the new version ofthe game’s worst boss, mainly because it’ll take us longer to reach that point, and thus our sanity will be (kind of) saved. Now is the time to start preparing for those battles you know will leave you weeping into your coffee.
Although we now can’t rush the DLC, we can instead choose to analyse every inch of the DLC trailer to findsecrets we probably missed. What else are we to do before the DLC launches and we can throw a tantrum in a fit of rage at how much we suck at killing these bosses?
