Elder Scrolls 6 leak hints at controversial Fallout 4 feature

New details regardingBethesda’supcomingSkyrimsuccessorThe Elder Scrolls VIhave found their way online, and while the source of the leak is somewhat dubious… a lot of the details do kind of line up.

The “leaker” claims that Inon Zur (who previously worked onStarfield,Fallout 4andFallout 76) is “composing for the game’s soundtrack” and that it’s currently going under the working title “Highfell”.

They also claim thatThe Elder Scrolls VIwill be a timed “XBOX and PC exclusive” and that it will eventually find its way “to playstation a few years after release.”

Leaks have come from stranger places before though. Some 4chan leaks have even proven to be true in the past (as much as it pains me to say).

All that being said… there are some details in here that make me think it’s rubbish.

Some of the details included are just way too obvious and come across as padding, in an attempt to make it seem more credible.

Inon Zur being the game’s composer isn’t some big reveal, for instance.

He’s worked on every Bethesda title since 2019 (and many beforehand), which coincidentally just happens to line up with the end ofSkyrimcomposer Jeremy Soule’s relationship with Bethesda (following allegations made against Soule online).

And, come on, it even lists Todd Howard as the “game director”. Yeah, I don’t think that was in doubt dude.

At this point, I think the only thing most people care about is a release date though - which was one of the only things the “leak” didn’t mention…
